Commitment to Privacy and Responsible Use of Information
BCI Pty Ltd understands how important the privacy of your personal information is to you and are committed to ensuring your privacy. The following statement addresses relevant privacy issues for us. Information we collect from visitors
For each visitor to our web site, our web server collects the following information for statistical purposes;

This is anonymous statistical data and no attempt is made to identify users or their browsing activities. We use this data to evaluate our website performance and to improve the content we display.
When You Provide Information as a client or visitor
The type of information we collect from you will depend on what products and services you use
Certain information is fundamental in order for us to meet a requested business transaction and/or relationship with clients. You provide us with personal details i.e.. your name and address, e-mail address, contact phone number and other details so that we may fulfil our business requirements and/or contact you when necessary on issues relating directly to the product. This practice is consistent with normal business policies/practices.
We will only use your personal information for purposes related to the products or services we provide to you or for any purpose you might reasonably expect for the information. It is your decision whether you wish to engage in a business relationship with us. We are required to inform you that we may release information about you in the following circumstances: where there is a duty to the public to disclose that information, where we are required by law or where our interests are threatened. Subject to the following proviso, we will not sell or disclose your information to any individual or entity for marketing purposes without your express consent. We do however reserve the right to sell one or other of our businesses, without your consent, and at the same time sell our database, of which you might be a member. It will be intended that the new owner of that database will be shown this policy and be asked to keep to the strict terms of it. However, BCI Pty Ltd cannot without reservation guarantee that that is done by the new owner. You of course have your rights to unsubscribe and otherwise ask the new owner of the database to respect your right to privacy, which you have at all times.
Confidentiality and Secrecy – Third Parties
If you are a vendor that we represent or you are the owner of a business for whom we are conducting a valuation, then you will be giving us information about your business. Our duty to you as a client is to keep your information secret and confidential and only share that information with people that you approve or who have signed a confidentiality agreement with us or that class of people mentioned as follows: That information may be shared with others such as our staff, contractors or third-party professionals hired by BCI. In the case of contractors or third-party professionals, we have an agreement with those people where they agree to keep the information confidential, bound in the same way that we are to you by virtue of our relationship. If you do not wish such information to be shared with third-parties in pursuance of the work we are doing for you, you need to advise us.
Email Address
If you are a registered customer for our online services, we may use your e-mail address to advise you of any news, upgrades or changes to our services. It is our policy to only email customers who give us permission to do so. If we send you an email for a commercial purpose, we will give you the option of not receiving further communications of this nature.
Security of Captured Data
Additionally, all stored customer information is protected from unauthorised access through the use of secure passwords and user logons or other security procedures.
Are Cookies Used on the Site?
Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our Visitors and the services they select. We also use Cookies for security purposes to protect our Authorised Customers. For example, if an Authorised Customer is logged on and the site is unused for more than 10 minutes, we will automatically log the Authorised Customer off.
How can Visitors correct any inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information?
Visitors and Authorised Customers may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us
Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?
We provide Visitors and Authorised Customers with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site’s database by contacting ‘contact us‘. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests that Personally Identifiable Information be deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way in the future.
What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?
We will let our Visitors and Authorised Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Authorised Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such Visitor or Authorised Customer to allow such Visitor or Authorised Customer to prevent such disclosure.
